What type of services you offer?

How should I prepare for my photo shoot?

I make this super easy. Basically, I don't want you to sweat it, but I want you to feel prepared. All of your questions are answered in detail for you in a preparation guide which is emailed to you shortly after booking your session. There is one for headshots/branding, and another for boudoir/glamour.

These guides will cover exactly how you should prepare completely for your photo shoot, as well as a list of local businesses for beauty appointments and expert wardrobe advice (apart from my own) for your photo shoot! I am very enthusiastic about offering a photo shoot experience of a lifetime to my clients so that you can expect a very well-informed process which involves more instruction than most.

Will we plan the look of the shoot together?

Yes! I love that this can be a collaborative process. I encourage you to gather images you like, (I love Pinterest for this) and send me any and all styles of photos, poses, looks that inspire you!

Take photos of magazine pages and send them to me... bring them with you to the shoot, etc

How long after the shoot will I see the photos?

About one week after your session, we’ll meet at the studio to view your photos together. Alternatively, if you prefer, we can do this via Zoom..

Can I get a couple quick headshots when I am there?

Yes! I do this all the time. :)

What is your retouching philosophy?

My goal is that you still look like you — beautiful, authentic, confident. I do retouching gently: smoothing skin, reducing under-eye shadows and blemishes if you want, refining color, contrast, and sharpness.

If there are features you want to keep (scars, stretch marks, etc.), or specific areas you'd prefer less retouching, just let me know. Permanence is part of your story..

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, we sure do! Ask about our options when you’re booking your session.

Can I post my photos on social media?

Of course! You can use your photos however you wish.

Can I bring a friend with me to my photo shoot?

Bringing a friend can be exactly what you need to help you feel good and safe and calm your nerves. They can be very reassuring to you! I don’t mind at all if there is one friend with you. That being said, I ask that the friend not interfere with the shoot at all. No directing, telling you how to pose, etc... that's my job. I got you! I do not allow any more than one friend in the studio with us.

On that note, I do not allow male identifying friends either. That’s firm. (No offense guys, it just changes the dynamic). But you know what's even better than having a friend there for moral support? Book your shoots back-to-back or together so you can both enjoy the experience!

How far in advance should I schedule for?

If you need your portraits by a certain date or deadline, we can discuss that during our discovery call.

What is the image reveal & ordering appointment?

The Image Reveal and Ordering Appointment is when you come back into the Studio, or we meet on Zoom and review all the photographs together.

This is when you’ll decide which photos you’d like for your Collection and Wall Art.

If you pre-purchased a Collection, you can upgrade to a higher Collection, add Wall Art to your order, add more pages to your album - the sky’s the limit.

I don't look or feel like a model, can I still come in?

This is GREAT news because I’m not the typical boudoir photographer. Every single body is beautiful and should be celebrated.

Your body has done wonderful things for you, be it birth children, travel, made love, gained weight, lost weight, gotten sick, recovered from sickness. This is your time to love on you for a bit.

But more, these photographs are not just about your body. They are about bringing out the best of you.

This session is about reaching the ultimate level of confidence, so you leave my studio with your chin a little higher, and you walk a little talker.

What if I don't want my photos to be shown?

Your privacy is the most important thing to us and believe me when I say, your images will not see the light of day unless you allow them to be shared.

Although I’m sure you and everyone would be like, oh HELL YES these photos of you are incredible, you do not have to share if you don’t want to, and neither will I.

You’ll get a chance to give different permission levels from nothing at all, to everything in the bag and more options in between.

I 100% do not tag my boudoir clients on social media, and I’ll never share names on my blog.

I will only use the photos you give me explicit permission to use.

I take this VERY seriously.

Will hair and makeup services be provided for my photo shoot?

I provide camera-ready, custom make-up application with my skillful on site make-up artist (when you meet her, you will love her!). She will go over everything with you once you are settled in.

She will ask about any allergies and preferences to make sure you are looking exactly how you wish to be seen! Totally glamorous or the "no make-up make-up" look and everything in between, it's all up to you! With her expert hairstyling, you will have a stunning, beautiful look!
